Bizarre watching so many people offer and accept allyship from individuals like MTG, Elon Musk, and many other right-wing talking heads, who have been using antisemitic dog whistles relentlessly for years. Hell, the former claimed Jewish people have space lasers and start forest fires. Does it get more blatant? But the most disturbing thing is, when it's all said and done, all these people will have a clean slate because of their vocal, if even empty support of Israel. Will this change their behavior? No. But now, much like claiming "I have a Black friend", they will argue they defended Israel so they can't be antisemitic.
